This '59 has been a black plate California car from new. It received a rotisserie restoration back in 2007 and got some serious upgrades, most notibly a 5-speed transmission, disk brakes, and a 1,275cc high-performance engine with aluminum head.
Just 4 years later, the car was put into hibernation where it would remain for the next 12 years. We have gently re-commissioned this Bugeye and it is now a perfect car for the road and the show circuit.
