732 Miles from New:

2006 Ducati Multistrada
1000S DS!

Please wait a few moments while our high-resolution photos load.

Designed by Pierre Terblanche, the first generation Ducati Multistrada is a revolutionary motorcycle that created quite a stir when it was introduced back in 2003.

In 2006, Ducati introduced the "S" model, equipped with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension front and back and fitted with multiple carbon fiber parts.

I purchased this 2006 1000S DS, VIN *ZDM1VABP56B016945*, in October of 2020 from a 100+ bike collection in Arizona, after the owner retired to Thailand and left the liquidation of the collection to a custodian.

Naturally, this is a 100% numbers matching bike. I had to put a bit of grease on the engine number, to ease its readability.

The bike comes with a clean California Certificate of Title in my name.

I bought the bike with on October 18, 2020 with 717 miles on the clock. I rode it 15 miles in 19 months. Mileage today is 732.

This Multistrada is registered to the blue-and-yellow California plate shown. Registration is paid 'til November 24, 2022.

Immediate upon receiving the bike, I changed oil and filter, using Motol 300V, the "green" stuff, arguably the best oil for a Ducati money can buy. Thereafter I brough the bike to Ducati of Santa Barbara for evaluation and a change of the timing belts. The dealer suggested to replace the fork seals as well, and the total invoice cam out to $1,076.59.

Everything works as it should and the bike starts, runs, and rides like a brand new bike.

I am asking $7,900 for this museum quality bike, which is considerably less than I have invested in it.
