Up for sale here is a factory original tailsection for a 1995 and 1996 Buell S2 Thunderbolt. It is the early one, made from hand-layed fiberglass, a process that turned out to be so excessively time consuming and expensive, that it was abandoned shortly after. The item is now obsolete, and anybody with a Buell S2 is well advised to have spare body parts at hand, should their bike ever hit the ground

This tailsection is in wonderful condition, uncut, unlike so many, and comes with the seat lock and the complete taillight assembly.

It is part of a complete set that was painted in Harley-Davidson colors for silly money by Kenny Morris of Hot Rod Hogs - N - Hogs, in Stanton, California. Please notice that I will also have the headlight fairing from this set for sale. The fuel tank cover is already sold.

The paint has various small flaws, but since you'll want to repaint it anyway, this a mute point.

I searched high and low for a cardboard box large enough to transport this tailsection safely. I modified it, built a wooden support structure inside, wrapped the item, then inserted countless styrofoam pieces to make sure it's as safe as possible. In fact, I spend an entire Saturday doing this.
Naturally, shipping will be expensive, and the most economical way to do this is via UPS. Here are the measurements:
